Just as the crest among peacocks and the gem among snakes have the highest place, similarly mathematics has the highest place among all the Vedangas and scriptures.
Welcome to the Department of Mathematics Shaheed Srimati Hansa Dhanai Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Agrora (Dharmandal), Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The Department of Mathematics was established in 2019 and well known for its dedication towards excellence in teaching and research and upholds his spirit of Mathematical Excellence and Innovation. The department has a strong and dedicated faculty member having expertise in various areas of pure and applied Mathematics and are committed to imparting quality education and nurturing the intellectual growth of their students.
The Department currently has one faculty member "Dr. Ajay Kumar" and he is working as an Assistant Professor in this institute since June 2019. Dr. Ajay Kumar has more than 14 years of teaching and research experience. His research interest lying in Graph Theory, Graph Labeling, Metric Dimension and Graph Domination. Dr. Ajay Kumar has published more that 30 research paper in National and International journals indexed in SCI, SCOPUS, WOS, UGC Care and peer reviewed journals and guided a research scholar as a co-guide (2019-2022) and one research scholar is ongoing.
Dr. Ajay Kumar has attended and presented many research papers in National and International Conferences.
